Our ModelBasicsPrinciplesDelivery System
Our delivery system has three distinct arms of service:
LTPM Central:

LTPM Central refers to our main program campus which is located in Ward 7. Programs are offered 6-7 days per week all year long. During the school year, we serve apprentices for 3-4 hours each weekday immediately following school from 3:30 until 7:30 p.m. and offer flexible weekend hours. During the summer months, we serve our apprentices six to eight hours per day.

LPTM Express:

LPTM Express refers to our satellite locations where our “LPTM Express: Destination Opportunity Curriculum” is provided to youth in DC Public and Charter schools, private schools, and community-based youth service organizations. With the current economic downturn, Life Pieces has adopted a strategy of streamlining our Express sites into the services offered at LPTM Central.

LPTM Learning Series:

The LPTM Learning Series provides training to local service professionals, social workers, parents, and government agencies who are interested in incorporating our effective, innovative, and replicable strategies into their youth and community development initiatives. The series is offered nationally in partnership with Neighborworks America through their Weed and Seed program.
