I served on the board for The Catalogue for Philanthropy and it was then that I was introduced to Life Pieces To Masterpieces. Mary Brown spoke at one of our events and their work was featured in a reception. I had an opportunity to talk to their student apprentices about their work.
I have taken a personal interest in Life Pieces To Masterpieces. They grabbed at my heart and I'm proud of our relationship. My business has purchased Life Pieces To Masterpieces’ art for our office as part of the corporate art program. I didn't just buy it to support their work. I bought it because it's beautiful.
Life Pieces To Masterpieces is a well-run, efficient business that is on their game. The nature of their work with boys and young men is really fantastic. There is a lot of love and discipline there that is awesome and inspiring. In addition to this important work they create this beautiful art.
What's particularly wonderful about Life Pieces To Masterpieces as an organization is that they really express gratitude to their supporters. Sometimes you don't hear from other organizations -- not that you expect it. But it's really nice to have someone appreciate and follow up. When some one gives thanks, takes pictures of you, sends you notes that make you feel appreciated, you feel connected. It's a relationship.
